Travelling by Bus 

If you’re travelling by bus, the No. 8 is the quickest and most direct route. Simply board the No. 8 bus at Stop D (Bethnal Green Station) and ride it towards Old Ford. Get off at the Ford Road stop, which drops you less than a 1-minute walk from our salon door.

While you can also take the D6 or 388, these involve a longer walk from the nearest stops. That’s why many of our regulars from Bethnal Green prefer the No. 8 for its speed and convenience.

Option 1: Via Old Ford Road (Scenic Route)

1. Exit Bethnal Green Underground Station (Central Line).

2. Head south on Cambridge Heath Road (A107).

3. Turn left onto Old Ford Road.

4. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, passing Victoria Park and St Agnes Church.

5. Turn right onto Parnell Road, then a quick left onto Roman Road.

6. Walk a short distance — we’re at 471 Roman Road, just past the corner shop.

Option 2: Via Globe Road (Quicker Route)

1. Exit Bethnal Green Underground Station.

2. Walk down Roman Road via Globe Road (turn left after you pass Bethnal Green Gardens).

3. Follow Globe Road straight down until it intersects with Roman Road.

4. Turn left — we’re just a short walk away at 471 Roman Road.
